Sometime during the sign-making process for all of these chili dog waymarkers, I thought to myself "This COULD very well be a VERY bad idea." It seemed ill-advised, for so many reasons, and we DID learn a lot, over a decade ago, when we began.
Hear me out: bad ideas are SO NECESSARY!
Our crew accepted from the very beginning that we were going to fail, and so we were not afraid. It was the sheer, unabashed thrill of glomming onto this depraved chili dog concept that gave us freedom to follow an excellence we'd never known.
Certainty is an illusion, you will have bad ideas: TRY THEM.
